Google Yahoo and Hotmail Company

People who purchase products online aren’t much different than people who purchase off line. They may be a little more cautious with how they spend their money, due to security and privacy reasons, but for the most part they care about the same things, foremost among them being value. The following five factors that influence buying decisions are important considerations if you expect to close the sale on your website.
Factors That Influence Buying Decisions
Online consumers today are more sophisticated than they were ten years ago, or even five years ago. They’re not afraid to make a purchase online, but they will go out of their way to make sure they get value and are very concerned about privacy and security. If you expect to close the sale on your website then you need to consider the following five factors BEFORE you ever ask for the sale:
Security
Privacy
Value
Approach
Emotion
Customers Buy From Secure Websites
Online consumers are very concerned about security. They’re also educated. They have read up on cyber security and you should too. If you cannot convince your site visitors that your site is completely secure and that their financial information will be handled with care, they will go leave your site and go somewhere else. Security is one of the most important concerns for online consumers, especially today.
The Growing Concern Over Privacy
In addition to security, online consumers are concerned about privacy. They will guard their e-mail addresses and other personal information with great care. If you want to build trust for your brand then you should start with assurances. Make sure that you put your website visitors’ minds at ease with constant reassurances that their private information will not be sold or shared with third parties.
Regard for privacy online has been growing for the past couple of years. Some European countries have sued Google over privacy issues and Yahoo! announced last December that it will not store search information on searchers beyond 90 days. Privacy is important to online consumers. Having a well thought out and clear privacy policy on your website will go a long way to building trust and confidence in your business.
What Do You Offer Of Value?
Many consumers would still rather drive to pick up an item for purchase instead of making that purchase online for less money. In order to convince online consumers that purchasing your product online is safer and better for them, you’ve got to go out of your way to establish value in their minds.
Even then, providing a local retail outlet where consumers can order online and pick up their items later is a viable business model and could be the way to go for many online retailers. Still, value is in the forefront of consumers’ minds. In order to get them to purchase online you’ve got to ensure that you offer loads of value.
What Is Your Approach?
How you approach online consumers determines to a great degree how you build trust. I still see veteran Internet marketers make the mistake of talking down to their customers or making basic assumptions about behavior to that lead to dismissal or rune behavior. Just because a person has not made a purchase in the past does not mean that she won’t make a purchase in the future. But how you treat a consumer with your content may determine whether they do business with you at all – now or next year. Check your approach and ensure that you meet the emotional needs of your readers before you ask for the sale.
What About Emotion?
People buy for emotional reasons and defend their purchases logically. If you want to close the sale online then you’ve got to make the most basic emotional appeals and meet a real need in the minds of your readers. You have to connect with them on a gut level. Sometimes that takes more than one touch point. Pre-sales is just as important as closing the sale and savvy Internet marketers are learning how to set the stage for the sale down the road by spending a large amount of their time on pre-sales communication that builds trust and confidence.
Conclusion
Different people buy for different reasons, but at the heart of every consumer action is emotion. If people trust you they will buy from you. If you fail to earn their trust then it doesn’t matter how well you do everything else. These five factors all contribute to whether or not a consumer trusts you enough to exchange their hard-earned money for your product or service.

E-Finance For Earning Money

It is a simple fact that if you sell on eBay and receive only minimal views on your listings then the lower the bidding or amount of sales will be. It does not matter how detailed and professional your listings look, viewings are the key. And the key to increasing the number of viewings is research!
In order to research, you must first take a look at what other sellers, especially Powersellers of the same items, are doing. What keywords do they use? Which categories are they listing in? Do their listings trigger an emotional need so that the reader simply has to buy now? How many photographs do they have and what quality are these? Take a good hard look at how they sell on eBay to get ideas for your own listings.
When a potential buyer reads your listings, they are looking for good value. So, you must add value to your products. Adding value does not always mean giving something extra free or doing something to the actual product! You just need to achieve a perceived added value which will catch the reader’s attention when they look at your description. So added value could be something as simple as offering a no quibble 30 day money back guarantee. If your competitors who sell on eBay are not offering this then you have added value to your product. The same goes for your listing description – photographs add value, as do the benefits of the product.
Make sure that you write your description well and always include photographs – people like to see exactly what they are buying! It is important to remember when you to write your description in a friendly, informative manner, as though you are talking personally to the reader as this will encourage them to continue reading and arouse their interest.
If your product has lots of features and especially benefits, then make sure you include them in your listing. Do not drone on and on, but be clear and concise and tell the potential buyer exactly why they must buy your item right now.
To sell on eBay effectively, you need to invest some time into creating that added value as ultimately your listings will attract more views and sales. Bearing this in mind, there is nothing more off putting to a potential buyer than seeing a confusing listing before them! Not everyone is a technical whiz so where possible use simple layman’s terms in your description. Show all your Payment, Shipping and Dispatch Times so that they can be easily seen and understood so that buyers can work out total costs and approximate delivery dates at a glance.
If people feel at ease with your auction listing, then they are much more likely to bid or buy. So it is important when you sell on eBay that you are completely honest. If there happens to be a fault with a product, tell buyers what it is as this will show that you are not trying to mislead anyone. Really, the simple rule is to think about what you would like to know about the item if you were buying it, and then add all these thoughts to your description. Don’t miss bits out because if all the information is there in front of the potential bidder or buyer then they are more likely to bid or buy right now.
As your views and sales grow, you must encourage your bidders and buyers to look at your other listings because a big part of your eBay sales strategy is to get bidders to purchase more items from you. So, if you are selling a supplementary or complimentary item let your buyers know and highlight the fact that you offer combined postage if they purchase both items!
When you sell on eBay, your listings should be regarded as an opportunity to establish relationships with buyers. You then need to look after these buyers so that they come back to you time and again. Never think in one-off transactions, even if they do end up as a one-off, because your ebay income depends on customers to guarantee you success!

Microsoft had abused its dominant market position

US telecom giant AT&T said that Apple iPhone owners would be allowed to use Internet voice calling on its wireless network, paving the way for services such as Skype."Today's decision was made after evaluating our customers' expectations and use of the device compared to dozens of others we offer," said Ralph de la Vega, president and chief executive of AT&T mobility and consumer markets, on Tuesday.AT&T, the exclusive US carrier of Apple's smartphone, said it had informed the computer titan and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of its decision to allow Voice over Internet Protocal (VoIP) calling on its third-generation (3G) wireless network.FCC chairman Julius Genachowski welcomed the move."When AT&T indicated, in response to the FCC's inquiry, that it would take another look at permitting VoIP on its 3G network I was encouraged," he said in a statement. "I commend AT&T's decision to open its network to VoIP."Opening wireless services to greater consumer choice will drive investment and innovation in the mobile marketplace," Genachowski said.AT&T previously only allowed VoIP calling using less reliable Wi-Fi connectivity.Skype bypasses the standard telephone network by channeling voice and video calls over the Internet. It allows users to call others free of charge and to connect with land lines or mobile devices at low rates. It is consulting PC makers, software firms and consumers on Microsoft's offer to allow users to pick different browsers when they install Windows.
The bloc ruled in 2004 that Microsoft had abused its dominant market position by freezing out rivals.
It said Microsoft must let rivals' products run on its operating system.
"The commission will formally market test proposals made by Microsoft to address concerns regarding the tying of Internet Explorer to the Windows PC operating system," said the EU's competition commissioner Neelie Kroes.
"The preliminary view is that Microsoft's commitments would indeed address our concerns," she added.
"PC users should have an effective and unbiased choice between Internet Explorer and competing web browsers."
Long history
In July, Microsoft proposed a consumer choice screen that allowed users to pick from a number of different browsers.
The commission then asked Microsoft to improve the choice screen, which it has now done.
The latest proposal, and the one which the EU is consulting on, features a choice of 12 browsers.
"Today's decision is a significant step toward closing a decade-long chapter in competition law concerns in Europe," Microsoft said in a statement.
Back in 2004, the EU fined Microsoft and forced it to offer a version of its Windows operating system without Microsoft's own media player.
The company was also told to give rivals more information about how Windows works, so they could make their own software integrate better with the operating system.

Public offering (IPO) in Brazil

The flotation, in both Sao Paulo and New York, was the biggest in the world since Visa's offering in March 2008.
It will use some of the proceeds to expand its branch network and install automatic teller machines. It will also boost its capital reserves.
Santander is the third largest private-sector bank in Brazil by assets.
It has a market share of about 10%, with just over 3,600 branches across the country, having expanded through six domestic takeovers over the past 12 years.
High demand
The unit is one of Santander's most profitable businesses - making up about 20% of its total net income in the first half of 2009.
The bank had increased the number of shares it put up for sale, to meet demand from investors.
The previous largest initial public offering (IPO) in Brazil was that of credit card processor VisaNet in June.
The high level of demand for the offer was seen as an indication that considerable interest had returned to the IPO market, analysts said.

1,700 jobs and freeze pay in order to stem losses."This inevitably brings a strike closer.

British Airways (BA) is facing the threat of a strike action after angry workers protested on Wednesday against the airline's plans to cut 1,700 jobs and freeze pay in order to stem losses."This inevitably brings a strike closer. We have been working flat out to find a negotiated solution with this company but they are clearly not interested in compromise, preferring conflict instead," a senior union leader told the Press Association. "They are holding a gun to the heads of our members. We will not stand by while they push fewer and fewer people to do more and more work on less pay and turn our premier airline into a low-cost operator," he added. The cuts will reduce the total number of cabin crew-related jobs from 14,000 to 12,300, it said, noting that the move involves cabin crew managers rather than cabin crew themselves."These changes will take place from the end of November. They will not .. reduce the number of working crew on board," said a BA statement of the job cuts.British Airways "is currently not profitable and we expect to record a significant loss for the second consecutive year the first time that has happened in our history," it added."Revenues are down, so we must reduce costs to restore profitability. Thousands of staff across the airline have already made contributions to the cost-reduction programme."We have been talking to the cabin crew unions since the start of the year, but have made little progress on the contribution they might make," the company added.BA last month launched its inaugural all-business class service from London to New York as it seeks to claw back ground lost to rival Virgin Atlantic and succeed where others failed.Loss-making BA is seeking to get back on track amid a severe economic downturn that has slashed demand for air travel. However, in contrast to BA, rival Virgin Atlantic has enjoyed an upturn in premium business travel.

Western brides in white gowns clutching bouquets couldn’t quite create the same impact as the fire brigade red brides

Export of Nepali readymade garment (RMG) in September fell by 86 per cent, with the RMG export worth being $90,860.43. Garment Association Nepal (GAN) president Prashant Kumar Pokharel said the government should take steps for the revival of garment export. Pokharel said, “When Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala went to the US, American senators were positive about granting duty free access to Nepali RMG and talks were also held regarding a trade treaty between the two countries.”According to GAN, in August the total RMG export plunged by 81 per cent and Nepali RMG exported was worth $1,45,000 then. Pokharel said the trade agreement can revive the export of RMG. During the visit of the United States Trade Representatives to Nepal a trade agreement draft proposal was prepared to facilitate duty free access of Nepali RMG to the US. However, as there no initiatives were taken by the government till date there is no progress on this front. With 70 per cent of Nepali RMG being exported to India, the Indian market has evolved as a fertile market but due to additional charges exporters are facing hard times. Pokharel said that there is an additional duty charge of four per cent on garments exported to India which affects the export volume. “The Counter Valuing Duty (CVD) of four per cent is rational but we are having great problem due to additional duty charge on maximum retail price (MRP),” he added.TGIF Nepal Fashion Week 2009 was awash with glitz and glitter as the five day fashion extravaganza came to a grand finale on Friday evening at the Yak & Yeti Hotel in Kathmandu. With a riot of sparkling colours and dazzling embellishments, the concluding day pulled out all the stops in whipping up a frenzy with the sub-continent’s ethnic exuberance. It was Incredible India on the catwalk, like Nepal had perhaps never witnessed before, as the ramp queens pirouetted in spectacular sarees, salwars and lehenga cholis to vitually knock the audience dead. Unmistakable strains of Indian music filled the air as the devastating models draped in everything from chiffon to linen and cotton to lycra sizzled on the runway looking like they’d just stepped off the sets of a Bollywood blockbuster. Shimmering visions of the Bharatiya Nari in all her resplendent glory bewitched all and sundry, even though many of those visions came with the classic Nepali features and in one case, even Caucasian. The auditorium at the Yak and Yeti was packed to capacity with standing room only as the most high profile fashion event in the country reached a deafening crescendo.Indian ethnic wear is never complete without the celebrated bridal collection, and kickstarting the evening was Manju Banjara’s depictions of the Indian bride. Blood red hues to complement the flames of the wedding fire glided down the runway in breathtaking variations whether in sarees or lehengas with intricate metallic embellishments to do any Mughal artisan proud. In comparison, the western bridal collection from the same designer that followed failed to come anywhere close to its predecessor. Western brides in white gowns clutching bouquets couldn’t quite create the same impact as the fire brigade red brides. The glistening Indian collections that dominated the evening’s proceedings, were interspersed with western wear including Uttam Banepali’s semi formals and Pratigya Thapa’s Camden collection. Star names to grace the final day were Nepal’s object of lust actress Rekha Thapa who scorched the ramp with fellow actress Namrata Shrestha. The first ever Miss Nepal Ruby Rana Shah who was crowned back in 1994 accompanied by her husband Prajay Vikram Shah and actress Arunima Lamsal added extra spark to the already starry evening. However the star attraction of the day was undoubtedly Femina Miss India 2008 Simran Kaur who demonstrated to all in attendance why her poise and luminescence made her the toast of a nation of 2 billion people last year.

Nepali diplomatic mission in Saudi Arabia to fix

Foreign Employment Promotion Board (FEPB) is planning to organize Foreign Employment Fairs in two cities of Saudi Arabia in November. The labour fairs will be held in Riyadh and Dammam, said FEPB undersecretary Mukunda Adhikari.Adhikari said the board has written a letter to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) and Nepali diplomatic mission in Saudi Arabia to fix the dates and venues. “FEPB has proposed to set the dates between November 10 and November 18,” he said. The fairs will a one-day event in each destination, he added. Saudi Arabia is a major destination for Nepali migrant workers in the Gulf. It hired around 52,416 Nepali blue-collar jobseekers in the fiscal year 2008-09. Around 3,00,000 Nepalis are believed to working in Saudi Arabia at present. Outsourcing companies in Nepal and Saudi Arabia, FEPB, the Department of Foreign Employment (DoFE) and high-level government officials of both countries will take part in the fair. “Our objective is to expand the Nepali labour market,” said Adhikari. Apart from this, FEPB will seek a guarantee of the safety of Nepali workers, mainly women migrant workers. Nepal government has banned Nepali women from to going Gulf countries — Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, the United Arab Emirates (UAE) — as they usually became victims of domestic violence and sexual harassment in the past. “We seek a guarantee of their safety from the Saudi government and outsourcing agencies there,” he said. The fair will also pressurise destination countries to revise remuneration, he added. Nepali blue-collar jobseekers are least paid compared to their counterpart from India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. Saudi Arabia has a large demand for housemaids and they are eying Nepali women to fulfill the requirement. Earlier, in March, the Saudi government had requested the then Minister for Labour and Transport Management (MoLTM) to send 1,00,000 housemaids but MoLTM first sought a guarantee of their safety. “Without a guarantee from the Saudi government, we cannot send Nepali women there,” said Adhikari. Nepal is also planning to pressurise the Saudi government to adopt International Labour Organization (ILO) guidelines to secure the rights of migrant workers. Saudi Arabia has not adopted ILO rules and regulations related to foreign workers and their laws are based on Islamic fundamentalism. Last year, Nepali outsourcing agencies organized such a fair in Qatar. These fairs should help to make a congenial environment for Nepali labourers oppressed by the global economic crisis.
